Ashford County Square, Wedding Fair 19-21st October 2017
For the past 3 days I have been at the Wedding Fair at County Square Ashford promoting Dotty’s vintage hire. This is my stand which I am very grateful to Phil for creating at very short notice!
My neighbours at the show have been Helen Batt and her wonderful photography, Pastel Shades bridal wear, Jo with Jamberry Nails and Edwina from Artisan Hats.
Everyone was really friendly and it’s been great to share ideas and contacts.
I showed a selection of my vintage crockery which included some really beautiful pieces. Pretty cups and saucers perfect for weddings in golds and florals and some more traditional designs. For this event I matched them with table runners and pretty embroidered linens to give a variety of looks.
The tea cosies as always create a lot of interest. The quirkier the design the more they are liked, but the granny crochet is always top of my list!
In the mornings when it was quieter I was even able to knit a few more to add to the collection…
I now have a wide range of vintage bunting to suit all types of vintage styles. Although the embroidered bunting is always a firm favourite and it certainly was in Ashford!
I met lots on vintage enthusiasts and as always it great to chat vintage! I was even given 2 coffee pots and a teapot to add to my collection…PERFECT!
A big thankyou to all my friends who came to support me and have a cup of tea and a chat.
