Workshop update

Needle Felting Courses 2020-January2021

These will be a fun and relaxed workshop led by Jude Askey-Brown. Courses are run in the new workshop studio with a maximum of 3 participants to allow for social distancing. As there are very limited numbers to secure a place on the course, I am asking those interested to pay the course fee in advance contact me on 07818963629.

Tuesday 10th November 10am-1pm £30

This workshop is well suited to beginners and intermediate felters. You will learn how to create 3D and 2D shapes, as well as teaching you the basics of needle felting I will also be teaching new needle felting techniques and, introducing new wool to create dramatic effect

Owls on a branch
Tuesday 24th November 10am-12:30  £25

This workshop is well suited to beginner Needle Felters and a gentle introduction to the creative craft of needle felting. You will create a wonderful woolly felted owl on a branch and learn how to craft a 3D core structure, model appendages and add applique features as well as being guided through essential basic skills to be able to carry on confidently at home.

Woolly sheep
Tuesday 8th December, 10am- 12:30 £25

Create a gorgeous woolly sheep. This workshop is well suited to beginners and intermediate felters. You will learn how to create 3D and 2D shapes, attach felted heads, legs and ears to the main body. We will use a variety of fleeces including curly locks to create a super woolly sheep!

Tuesday 12th January 2021 £25

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those wishing to develop their needle felting skills. You will be learn how to attach needle felted parts together, mix colours and  knit or sew a small blanket. In this workshop you will make an adorable sleepy mouse wrapped in a blanket snuggled inside a vintage tea cup.

Owl hanging

Saturday 9th January 2021 £25

This gorgeous owl is mounted onto an oak support so it can be hung on a wall. In this workshop you will learn how to create and shape onto a felted disc building up and shapes to create a beautiful owl. You will also learn how to blend fibres and use stitching to create blended effects.
